Natalie is interested in applying spatial and movement ecology analysis for management and conservation of marine megafauna. She has been working with marine turtles for 10 years. She enjoys being involved in environmental education, and has experience working with indigenous and coastal communities in Venezuela. Her research on marine turtles has covered several topics, from assessing artisanal fisheries and their impacts on marine turtles, to oceanographic modelling, foraging and behavioural ecology. She is a member and Nomination Committee Co-chair of the International Sea Turtle Society (ISTS), and a member of the Society for Conservation and GIS (SCGIS).
