MARINE TURTLE

RESEARCH, ECOLOGY AND CONSERVATION GROUP

The Marine Turtle Research, Ecology and Conservation Group addresses real-world issues related to the conservation and management of marine turtles and other marine megafauna. Our research is interdisciplinary and applied in nature, and focuses on questions related to the spatial ecology, and behavior of marine megafauna, particularly marine turtles, with the aim of advancing our understanding of the impacts that they face from cumulative and synergetic disturbances, and to determine how to systematically mitigate threats to maximize conservation outcomes.
